Zhao Wei completely became a taxi driver in the film [The Longest Night in Shanghai]. The film unveild in the university students' film festival, and gained the applause of lots of students. When accepting the interview, Director Zhang Yibai expressed he hoped that this film could change others' prejudiced opinion about Zhao Wei.
[The Longest Night in Shanghai] unveiled herself in the hall of Shanghai university two months in advance, there was a full house, and it became the most favorable opening film of university students in recent years. The woman taxi driver of Shanghai that Zhao Wei acted also called her best performance since she engaged in films by those insiders. The unconcerned, unlucky taxi driver met a Japanese stylist who doesn't know Chinese, they experienced a wonderful night. Director Zhang Yibai was nervous when he watched the film at the beginning, then he became comfortable after hearing the applause and laughter, and he didn't hesitate to express his contentment of Zhao Wei:" She's really resplendent, and more and more attractive, this kind of sense hasn't been found out in her early films."
