The 14th Beijing Student Film Festival that lasted for close to a month and had branches set up in tens of universities around the nation closed on the 28th of April. After winning the most popular actress and actor according to university students in 2004, the most important awards at the festival, Beijing Film Academy classmates Zhao Wei and Chen Kun received the same honor once more at this year's closing awards ceremony. This became the most perfect coincidence at this year's Student Film Festival. When the two winners received the awards, the person that they want to share their awards with the most was their homeroom teacher back in university.
This year, the Beijing Student Film Festival had 20 categories set up, of which the most popular actor, actress and director are categories unique to the Student Film Festival, with online polls accounting for 25% of the final votes and university students' votes at the movie theaters accounting for 75% of the final votes. Winning these awards considerably demonstrate these movie creators' popularity among university students. As for Zhao Wei and Chen Kun, having won the same awards together for a second time caused the two to be extremely excited, stating that their homeroom teacher from university would certainly chuckle awake from her sleep. As for the question concerning whether or not she had sign contracts with EEG, Zhao Wei expressed that she did not know about it.
For the question concerning the size of her role in [Red Cliff] and whether or not the director personally added more importance to her, Zhao Wei expressed that though she is yet to get informed on the matter, what she is certain is that every single role in the movie is very important. And her role, "I feel that my role is very interesting".
