《天使旅行箱》大获赞誉 赵薇预计年底推新碟

(Reporter Huang RuiHai) Even though Zhao Wei missed the title for "Best Supporting Actress" at the recent Hong Kong Film Awards, she had triumphes on all fronts of music awards. Recently, her record company hosted a wrap-up celebration for Zhao Wei to congratulate her on receiving numerous winnings from all the major music awards this year, for her album [Angel Suitcase] released late last year.
The music awards that Zhao Wei won this year included, at last week's 2007 Music Radio China Top Music Chart, "Quadruple Threat of the Year Award", the most important award of the event, as well as "Album of the Year Award" for her album [Angel Suitcase] and "Single of the Year Award" for the title track of her album. Prior to the said awards ceremony, she was also crowned Most Stylish Female Singer at 2007 MTV Style Gala for the same album. As a part of her outstanding achievements, she took home the heavy-weight "Best Female Singer of the Year Award" at the 8th Music Chart Awards, which took place earlier in the month.
To congratulate Zhao Wei on becoming this year's favorite at the various Chinese music award ceremonies, her record company, MBOX's CEO Dominic Yu hosted a congratulatory banquet to celebrate the occasion. At the banquet, Li Quan, the music director of Zhao Wei's new album, together with other artists from the record company, namely Pang Long, Zhu Zhu, and Tang Tang, delivered their congratulations to Zhao Wei. Zhao Wei also expressed that the huge success of [Angel Suitcase] boosted her confidence in music, and she would be devoting more time to her music career in the future. In the near future, she would be preparing for a new album, which is set to be released at year-end.
