The 8th Changchun Film Festival of China closed last night, Zhao Wei won once again the award for best actress with her stunning performance in [A Time to Love] which also led her to have won the same title at the Shanghai Film Festival and the Huabiao Award previously.

When Zhao Wei was crowned best actress at the Shanghai film festival for her performance in [A Time to Love], it led to a minor contraversy (created by a handful of reporters with impure objectives concerning whether or not she should have won). However, when she won best actress award at the Huabiao Award, the controversy faded off. At the current Changchun Film Festival, when Zhao Wei was crowned as the Golden Deer film queen (i.e. best actress) for the third time with [A Time to Love], it seemed like her acting skills were finally approved officially. In a mix & match casualwear consisting a dress and a pair of jeans, Zhao Wei seemed to be rather laid back. She even bowed deeply to the audience before she went on stage to receive her award. When she was on stage, different from the serious attitude that she normally had, she joked with the guests on stage who were suppose to give out her award by calling Kou ZhenHai "Dad" and Zhang Zhen "Husband", and asking Chen MuSheng to film a movie with her in it.

Best Actress Trophy flew Out of hands
As Zhao Wei won the award, perhaps due to the over-excitement of seeing her idol, the miss holding the trophy tripped as she was approaching Zhao Wei and the trophy flew out of her hands. So when the time for giving out the award came, the host Zhang Zhen had no choice but to make fun (of the festival) by saying that one can see clearly that the trophy was made of gold since it was not affected by the hit.

[A Time to Love] brought to Zhao Wei three best actress awards. Zhao Wei expressed, "When I was lost with my performance, Huo JianQi (director of [A Time to Love]) gave me confidence and encouragement. He uncovered my potential abilities and led me to great improvements in my performances." When reporters blocked Zhao Wei from leaving the back stage, Zhao Wei said that she gave a lot of weight to this Golden Deer Award and that she felt that this award was of the same importance as the best actress of Shanghai film Festival and the best actress of the Huabiao Award. She also expressed, "Changchun is my luck place. The boldness of people of the Northeast makes me very comfortable."

Huo JianQi's [A Time to Love] helped Zhao Wei to win her first best actress (in the movie category) in her career on the Shanghai Film Festival last year. Later on, she won best actress at the Huabiao Award together with Zhang ZiYi. Again with [A Time to Love], one more best actress trophy is added to her collection at the year's Changchun Film Festival.
At around 2pm yesterday, Zhao Wei arrived to Changchun from the set of her current tv series. She didn't have assistants next to her. She didn't even had the time to prepare a gown. Jeans and running shoes did not prevent the Changchun Film Festival from awarding her the best actress award. After receiving the award, she said excitedly, " I would like to thank director Huo JianQi. As an actress, [A Time to Love] taught me how happy and luck I can be when I collaborate with a good director. During the shooting, I was lost for a long time. Director Huo continuously encouraged me. He uncovered my abilities so that I can receive the approval from the audience and walk onto the award stages one after another."

Without a gown, Zhao Wei was still the film queen
Zhao Wei was no doubt a film queen in the hurry, whether it was on the red carpet earlier or on stage receiving the award later on, she was in her casual attire. Why didn't she wear a gown? Could it be that she did not regard the third award with importance as she has won three best actress awards since last year with [A Time to Love]? She explained on stage, "I have just arrived from the set of a tv series. I didn't have the time to pick out a gown at all. Nonetheless, I feel that the gown is not the important part of it all.
